Charlie acts as the worker in the movie and was greatly affected by the new technologies. In the eyes of the boss, it's a innovative and contributive machine, but for Charlie, it seems to be rather a torture. He had to work faster and faster to fufil the demand of mass production. The boss can no doubt benefit from these kind of progress, but under the tense working situation, I find Charlie was suffering both mentally and physically. He had to keep working on the same pose and role. And he had even no chance to take rest under the closed circult cameras, which makes Charlie nervous and tired. There will be no creativity and motivation for workers like Charlie in the long run.
For me, as a student in the modern century, I often access internet and computer. It likes a big database with enormous information which helps me a lot. And we gain from these technologies than the past, because we are able to make good use of it. It is all about self-control. And I feel good with new technology, as it gives lighthearted experience to the life.

Nowadays, many people said that those who use computer is lost control, they will use many times to use computer to access internet and their daily life is control by the internet. However, I think if we have self-control, we can share our times to use computer and do others things, these are not conflict.
